Low Fin Tube

Low Fin Tube

For extreme efficiency in a variety of applications

Low-finned tubes are a reliable solution for controlling the temperature of gases and liquids, or for evaporating and condensing refrigerants. Thanks to their larger heat transfer surface area, they offer considerable potential to save in terms of materials and fill volumes. The wide range of dimensions offered by Wieland Thermal Solutions makes these products perfect for a broad scope of applications in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, for oil/gas coolers in machinery and plant engineering, and for intermediate vapor superheaters in process engineering.

Application

Low finned tubes are a reliable solution for controlling the temperature of gases and liquids, or for evaporating and condensing refrigerants. Thanks to their larger heat transfer surface area, they offer considerable potential to save in terms of materials and fill volumes, especially applicable to air and other gases on the fin-side and a fluid on the tube-side. Applied in heat exchanger for oil refinery and petrochemical plants, condenser and heat exchanger for petrochemical plants, condenser & evaporator for power plants.

Low-finned tubes are used in following fields:

heat exchangers for power plants (nuclear, electric, thermal and geothermal power plants)
chemical and petrochemical industries
high corrosive systems (evaporators, condensers,…)
Stainless Steel Tube Integral Low Fin Tube.

Benefits of Low Finned Tubes:

Offers 2.5-3 times the external surface area of bare tube Enhanced heat exchanger efficiency means less tube is required to accomplish the same heat transfer as a bare tube Low finned tube can increase the performance of an existing exchanger without the difficult and expensive task of building new shells etc Reduced space and weight can be extremely valuable in offshore production or high elevation distillation columns. Low finned technology can transform large shell and tube exchangers into compact heat exchangers

Turbo E tube

Far a wide range of demanding evaporator applications the integral helical fins on the outside ot the tube are modified to enhance the initiation at nucleate boing sites improving over all heat transfericcefticient. The inside heat transfer coefficient is improved because ot increased surface area and turbulation induced by integral helical ridges on the inside surface.

Inner Grove Tube

For Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Freezer Applications

The precision  inner grooved copper tube provides superior heat transfer capability by increasing the inner contact surface. These seamless drawn tubes significantly increase the efficiency of heat exchangers. Typical applications include fin and tube evaporator and condenser coils for air conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators.

  • Tube Form
The tube is typically supplied in Level Wound Coils .It can be provided in straight lengths on request.
  • Alloys Available
    UNS C12200,  DHP Copper
  • Cleanliness and Appearance
Tubes are clean and bright on the inside and outside surfaces, free from scale, open grain and mechanical metal defects.
  • Unique Feature
    High thermo conductivity.
    Substantially Reduced Fouling
    High Response To Cleaning-in-place.
    Viscous Fluids.

Corrugated Tube

Manufactured by corrugation process of indenting plain tube with smooth and spiral projections, which generate turbulence in both outside and inside media.

Instead of using plain tubes, in the Corrugated Tube Heat Exchanger, the tube side media will have a turbulated flow, thereby increasing the heat transfer co-efficient.

Due to turbulent flow, the fouling effect will be enormously reduced, caused by corrugated profile, in comparison with that of plain tubes. It also ensures uniform temperature distribution.

Corrugated tubes have variety of application such as Absorption type Refrigerator, Turbo Refrigerators and Screen Refrigerators Distillation Facility with multiple effects, for various effluent water, Dye-house effluent, Digestion Sludge, Food, Grain Slurry, Fruit Pulps, etc.

Corrugated Tubes are manufactured out of various materials viz. Copper, Cupro-Nickel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, etc.
