Application

Applied in heat exchanger for oil refinery and petrochemical plants, condenser and heat exchanger for petrochemical plants, condenser & evaporator for power plants.

The inside heat transfer coefficient is improved because ot increased surface area and turbulation induced by integral helical ridges on the inside surface.

The precision inner grooved copper tube provides superior heat transfer capability by increasing the inner contact surface. These seamless drawn tubes significantly increase the efficiency of heat exchangers. Corrugated Tube
Manufactured by corrugation process of indenting plain tube with smooth and spiral projections, which generate turbulence in both outside and inside media.
Instead of using plain tubes, in the Corrugated Tube Heat Exchanger, the tube side media will have a turbulated flow, thereby increasing the heat transfer co-efficient.
Due to turbulent flow, the fouling effect will be enormously reduced, caused by corrugated profile, in comparison with that of plain tubes. It also ensures uniform temperature distribution.
Corrugated tubes have variety of application such as Absorption type Refrigerator, Turbo Refrigerators and Screen Refrigerators Distillation Facility with multiple effects, for various effluent water, Dye-house effluent, Digestion Sludge, Food, Grain Slurry, Fruit Pulps, etc.
Corrugated Tubes are manufactured out of various materials viz. Copper, Cupro-Nickel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, etc.
